Kapadia’s ‘All We Imagine As Light’ received rave reviews, marking a significant moment for Indian cinema after three decades. It’s also a first for an Indian female director to feature in the festival’s main competition. Her previous work, the documentary ‘A Night of Knowing Nothing’, was also a hit at Cannes in 2021.
